St. David’s is an active parish with multiple avenues for service, fellowship, and ministry. Here are just a few!

  • Administry - This faithful group of people work in the Church Office answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting in the administrative responsibilities of the parish.

  • Altar Guild - Members of the Altar Guild prepare our Nave for worship each week. Responsibilities include caring for our linens, vestments, vessels, and arranging altar flowers.

Acolytes

Acolytes serve as assistants to the clergy during corporate worship. The term acolyte comes from the Greek word akolouthos meaning follower, and they have both practical and liturgical responsibilities. Both adults and youth can serve as acolytes.

Children’s Ministry

Our children meet in the Children's Ministry Room from 9:15-10:00 AM on the first Sunday of each month for a time of fun learning built around the liturgical year. Our Children's Ministry is using Godly Play, a beautiful curriculum designed to instill the wonder of God’s story in the lives of our children.

Outreach

Our Outreach Ministry is a financially self-supporting ministry, raising funds through a series of annual events and giving away 100% of the proceeds to local partners and those in need. In 2020, the St. David’s Outreach Ministry gave away over $50,000. While financial support is vital to our ministry partners, there are also a variety of hands-on, incarnational opportunities for mission and service in our community.

Dementia Friends

  • Daughter’s of the King (DOK) - To read more about this Order, click here.

  • St. Francis Guild - When St. Francis asked God what he should do with his life, the Lord spoke to him: “Francis, go and rebuild my church which, as you see, is falling down.” While our church is certainly far from falling down, this ministry team works day after day to maintain the beauty and functionality of our buildings and three acre property.

  • Other ministries include: Music Ministry, Food for Friends, Bereavement, Stewardship, Pastoral Care, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Technology Team, Ushers, Greeters, Community Connections, Al-Anon, and Boy Scouts.
