In 1950, three women led the charge to open a new church in Cocoa Beach, FL.

Through the partnership of local churches, the new parish received pastoral oversight, purchased and furnished a church building, and began to add to their numbers. The church was named St. David’s by the Sea.

For the next decade, Cocoa Beach experienced tremendous growth through the space program at Cape Canaveral. St. David’s responded to the changing demographics with creative, forward-thinking mission and ministry, becoming a hub for Christian discipleship and community fellowship.

Today we are building upon the foundation laid all those years ago with renewed vision, increased energy for mission, and a commitment to serving the Space Coast with the transformational love of Christ.
