Godly Play Presentation from Christ Episcopal Church

The St. David’s Godly Play Ministry will be launching monthly gatherings on the first Sunday of each month beginning in February. We will be having a preview Sunday for our children on Sunday, December 19th.

Last Sunday, December 5th, Heather Barlow from Christ Episcopal Church (CEC) came to St. David’s to give our congregation a demonstration of a Godly Play story so that each of us could experience the amazing curriculum that will be offered to our children each month. Heather told the Godly Play story “Advent Two.”

Heather has been involved in Godly Play both as a teacher and a mother for over a decade. She leads the Godly Play Ministry at CEC which is a training location in our deanery and diocese. Heather and the rest of the CEC Godly Play Ministry leaders have given invaluable advice and support as we have prepared to launch our own ministry at St. David’s.

On Sunday Heather presented St. David’s with our own Advent Two story which she and her daughters made especially for us. Each time we use it we will give thanks for Heather and for CEC!
