Our liturgical worship is rooted in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. It is Christ-centered and consistent with our Episcopal-Anglican heritage. Our worship of Almighty God is predominantly traditional, using blended and traditional music to enhance our worship. A user-friendly worship booklet guides the 10:15am Sunday service.
Holy Eucharist Rite1
The early morning worship has a quiet, reverent atmosphere. There is no music at this service. The Rite 1 service is patterned after the 1928 BCP service. There is a gospel-based sermon at this service. Many people prefer this service because of the early hour of the morning, while others come because they prefer Rite One.
Attendance at this service ranges from 15-45 depending on the time of year. There is coffee hour and fellowship after the service. Many 8:00a attenders remain for the 9:15am Adult education hour.
Holy Eucharist Rite 2
Our 10:15 service is the traditional service with blended music. There is a gospel-based sermon given by one of the clergy.
Our attendance at this service ranges from 65-105 depending on the time of year. There is coffee hour and fellowship after the service. Many 10:15a attenders come early to attend the 9:15am Adult education hour.
Wednesday Evening 5:00pm
Our 5pm service is more informal with a Gospel-based extemporaneous sermon. It is always based on the Holy Eucharist Rite ll.
